Services: Care and Support| Practical care and support services are provided by trained and committed volunteers to Africans living with HIV and AIDS related diseases. The service benefits from our Peer Education programme whereby the graduates apply their newly acquired skills to provide sensitive care and support services to those community members that are living with AIDS related diseases as sessional workers. Due to the low numbers of people that are being trained from the African Caribbean Community, it is becoming difficult for us to get the numbers to meet the rising demand for this service as the rate of infection and diagnosis soars within the African Caribbean community in Brent. |
